30, 45, or 60 minute lessons
Lessons are online or at my personal address on the West Berkshire/Reading border. They focus on ABRSM piano grades and musical theatre vocals, however, I am always willing to embrace students wanting to focus on Trinity, School of Rock, improvisational and non-syllabus related learning. There are also sessions available for tutoring music theory to a grade 5 ABRSM standard, which is the requirement for grade 6 and above in any instrument.
30 minute lesson
£20
Best for complete beginners, children under 10 and those seeking theory or audition related guidance.
The lessons focus on learning practical material meaning any warm-ups would be done in the students own time prior to the lesson.
More technical exercises & scales would be given for practise after the lesson.
45 minute lesson
£30
Most suitable for students taking graded examinations or wanting added guidance for intermediate/advanced level material.
Lessons will incorporate a 15 minute focus split between warm up technique, aural exercises, relevant theory and safe practise.
60 minute lesson
£40
These are designed for students wanting a full technical warm up and are working through/learning intermediate to advanced pieces.
The lessons are also for developing aural and physical technique to audition for vocational colleges or to take Grade 5+ examinations.
They allow time for additional theory aid or for more beginner students wanting to learn both piano and vocals.
