Enjoyment and performance is my main focus as a tutor having trained in Musical Theatre at the London Studio Centre, University of the Arts London. I have been privileged to have worked as a performer with Disney Cruise Line; Royal Caribbean Cruise Line; a number of UK national tours and international tours; the London Philharmonic Choir and BBC Proms.

For the last five years since covid, I’ve loved putting my knowledge into teaching students of all ages in London and have recently moved to West Berkshire for a quieter life.

Alongside my teaching, I worked as a music editor for Faber Music Publishing, editing works such as the official Harry Potter Piano Anthology and educational books by composers including Paul Harris, Pam Wedgewood and Elaine Gould. I then became Head of Education at the national theatre school, “Perform”.

I look forward to transferring back to teaching full time and focusing on those local to my new area in West Berkshire and Reading as I raise my own family. See you soon.

I was an absolute beginner, not just to piano but also to music generally, when I found Rebecca on tutorful. A year or so later, with half hour zoom lessons most weeks, I can translate a simple score into music, playing the melody and chords across both hands. The biggest compliment is that my family no longer shut the door and they say they recognise the tune. Thank you so much Rebecca for teaching me with fun and patience!

Very warm and welcoming. My son has mild autism and was very nervous about starting lessons. She soon had him smiling and laughing and enjoying every minute of learning something new.

Beki is an amazing teacher. All our lessons are so much fun! From the very first lesson she managed to put me at ease, and I was very very nervous.
